Trafic For Free
I have three kids that are more computer literate then I am. They are always doing something cool and I always find myself asking "how'd you do that?" or "where did you find that?" My oldest child had to teach me how to copy and paste. Yes,I got laughed at. Yesterday I found that same child on Yahoo Answers, asking a question about a homework problem, and answering other questions. I asked what she was doing and what this site was all about. She said you can ask a question about anything, and people answer them very fast. You can answer any questions that you know the answer to or give advice even if you don't know the answer.
Of course I wanted to know if I could do it too and if I could put in a link with my answers and questions. She didn't know so I went and checked it out last night and yes you can put links in the resource box after you answer a question:)I stayed up until 2 a.m. playing around in there and only stopped because I was tired. It's pretty cool. There are some rules you need to check out though.
They don't like any spam or solicitation. Just make sure your nice and make sure you give a link that might help the person out and make sure it pertains to the question being asked. Common sense really, I mean don't put a link in your answer about cars if the question is about hair styles. If you have a link about cars look for questions about cars, then, when you give them your link your helping them with there question. You don't wanna get kicked off. Your answers and questions can get picked up by search engine too, just remember that when you ask or answer a question.

Sucks huh? but, I was pretty tired. Just be careful and you'll be fine.

Yeah, they are really coming down on anything deemed as self-promotion. You could also try wis.dm which is similar to Yahoo Answers. :(
