Teens and Pimples

Teens struggle with pimples~ it's just a part of life~ it's natural!
Well, there is a cure that's just as natural.
This is not some elaborate sales pitch, designed to get you all excited about all the wonderful benefits of this awesome product, where at the end you have to go to another website to even find the name of it, and after that, you find that it costs an arm and a leg, and you feel like a sucker for wasting your time. No, I will not be telling you a bunch of hoopla. This is just an honest story about my daughters very real struggle with acne, my research into a cure for it and finally my results.
I will tell you the name of it, how I came to find out about it, how much it cost and where to find it.
I will give you some links to my research material or you can research it for yourself.
Let me begin by saying that these pimples have been an embarrassment for my fifteen year old daughter since she was thirteen. We have tried many different things, going so far as to get doctors prescriptions for relief. Nothing worked and the effort we were taking to get rid of them became as much of a struggle as the pimples themselves. I have always been one that prefers something natural to chemically enhanced products. So, I began by simply googling home remedies for acne. You would actually be surprised at the amount of different things out there to try. I was very lucky that the first one I decided to try has been the one to work for us.
~ALOE VERA~ Yes, the plant.
We began by cutting off small pieces of the leaves, then cutting them open and rubbing the juice on my daughters face. The results were okay the first few days,the redness around the pimples began to fade. I started to use a bigger piece of the leaves and this helped even more. The thicker the better. This stuff is pretty slimy and my daughter says sometimes it makes her eyes water, these seem to be the only bad side effects of aloe vera. I then found pure aloe vera in a gel form, less messy and about the same price I paid for the plant and my daughter likes it better.
We apply the aloe before bed and she washes her face in the morning and applies an aloe lotion for during the day, we have been doing this for two weeks now and the results are very good.
I paid about five dollars for the plant and the same for the gel.

also to a whole page of different brands of aloe vera products from amazon,but you can buy this at many drug stores, usually by the lotions. I purchased the clear Fruit Of The Earth brand, but I would like to try one that combines other natural ingredients.
