How to turn your hobbie into a career
I'm a wife of fifteen years and a mother of three. I have been an artist for about fifteen years. I started out just doodling and it has turned into a nice little career that I'm pretty content with. I'm pretty small potatoes right now, I do plan on expanding someday when I have more time to devote to my art. I have a lot of hobbies, so I try to divide my time between them. My family requires most of my time though:) Some of my other hobbies include sewing, scrap booking, woodworking, photography, crocheting, gardening,reading,and I love to write. I love learning new things, surfing the Internet and always in search of ways to improve my finances to give my family a better life.

You're right. Often times the most successful people make money from their hobbies. I know many who do so in the model train business. Just go to any good weekend flee/craft market and start chatting up some of the vendors, you will see in a hurry that it's possible.
